System Support Engineer:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining our organization’s computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Support:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
• System Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain the performance of computer systems and networks.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Ensure security measures are in place and up to date.
•Troubleshooting:
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot system problems.
Provide timely resolution to technical issues and escalate when necessary.
Document and track issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
•User Training and Support:
Assist users with software applications, providing guidance and training as needed.
Create and update user manuals and support documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
•Experience with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and common office software.
• Familiarity with network protocols and configurations (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
